HIV/AIDS

In 2006, according to the United Nations AIDS Epidemic Update, 39.5 million people are living with HIV currently. People who are newly infected by HIV is estimated to be around 4.3 million and the number of people who died of AIDS in 2006 is about 2.9 million.

These numbers are incomprehensible. I cannot even begin to imagine these numbers in my head.

Luckily, the world is responding.
